This guided challenge is suited for students who are comfortable working with the Microsoft Azure Resource group containing a preconfigured Storage Account, Web App, and virtual machine. Some background of programming, cryptography, networking, and system utilities of Microsoft Azure Cloud is resourceful. Lab completion will help students develop skills in setting-up Secure connections to generate a Shared Access Signature (SAS) for resources stored on the Azure cloud. Students will practice configuring their firewall rules and limiting access to a Storage account, which is essential for the System Administrator work role. Students will also develop a solid understanding of the Azure Resource Group used for securing storage accounts by limiting access and setting-up firewall rules for accessing files and folders at storage-level using Storage Group configuration. These are important for the Network Operations Specialist and Network Engineer work roles.
