Some background of programming, cryptography, networking, and system utilities of Microsoft Azure Cloud is resourceful. Guided challenges have specific hints, which offer links to documentation or similar resources. This is a good practice working through a task utilizing your knowledge, skills, talents, expertise, researching skills, and related documentation gaining hands-on experience on the tools and the software used. Lab completion will help students develop skills in setting up or configuring a Web App, an Action Group, an Alert Rule, Web Job alerts for the web application on the cloud, and enabling Testing the Web App alerts by the customers and the company both. In contrast, the web hosting services help in creating an alert action group with an email action and a webhook action enabling to define an alert rule for an existing Web App, which is essential for the System Administrator work role. You will also develop a solid understanding of the Azure Resource Group used for configuring an existing Web App to host the Web Job and then deploying the code for the Web Job while creating and deploying the alert rules as well as verifying them. These are important for the Network Operations Specialist and Network Engineer work roles. This lab is beneficial to students on the System Administrator career path.
