Exercise 1 - Using OneDrive for Document Storage
Microsoft OneDrive previously known as SkyDrive, provides a free cloud-based storage where users can upload and synchronize files in a cloud storage which can be accessed from computer, tablet or mobile phone that’s connected to the Internet.
Users with accounts in Hotmail.com or Outlook.com are allocated at least free 15 GB storage (as of this writing). Your storage account can be upgraded to higher capacity on a paid subscription basis.
Exercise 2 - Using OneDrive for Document Sharing
You can use OneDrive to share your folders and files to people that you work with. This gives you the convenience of sharing large files with colleagues without sending them as an attachment through e-mail.
The other party to whom you have given access to your files is not required to have an Outlook account, as this gives them access by using a link provided to them in an e-mail message. However, it’s more convenient for both parties to have an Outlook.com account as this gives them streamlined access to OneDrive application.
