AgentViking900 so these pictures are encrypted?

Ransom.Locky!lnk is a malware belonging to Locky virus and is known to possess ransomware properties. Many of the users have complained that their data has been held hostage once this malicious infection has targeted their PC. However, it is advised not to pay the ransom even if it is demanded in form of some ransom note of any kind. Instead one should concentrate on its removal as early as possible: For remove guide refer: http://www.removemalwarevirus.com/delete-trojandownloaderjslocky-a-completely-from-pc

If your PC has been infected with Ransom:Win32/Locky.A virus and your stored system file name appended with “.locky” extension, then you should eliminate Ransom:Win32/Locky.A from your computer as soon as possible. However, it is strongly advised by the security researchers not to pay the demanded ransom money for file decryption. In such circumstances, you should go through the link recommended below and you will get the detailed information on Ransom:Win32/Locky.A removal. After successfully deleting the ransomware from your PC, you have to use backup copies for file restoration. If you don’t have a backup, then just visit the website and you’ll also find alternative method for file recovery. Thank..!!

So, is there a way to restore files encypted by Locky ransomware now? I wasn’t used to backing up my files. After one of my friends got hit by Locky ransomware, I make a backup of my important files regularly.
