Hello. My name is Dustin, and welcome to wireless networks. I'm gonna show you how to get it installed and running on a Windows machine. And remember, this isn't always recommended from them. I don't think they fully support the Windows Os, but most of the stuff should work just like it would in Lenox.
00:18
So the first thing you want to do is download it and you can get that from Air Crack, Dash and G dot or ge
00:24
And let's hop over there real quick.
00:28
All right? So you can see right here. Here's the source files for any of the Lenox ones, and then we're gonna click windows,
00:35
and all you need to do is just save the file. It is a zip file.
00:39
So go ahead and save that and we will pop into our Windows seven virtual machine. And here you can see I've got it. So the first step in installing this on Window seven is extracting the folder and you'll just extract it to the root of your C drive.
00:57
So we will do that real quick.
01:00
Make new folder will call it a crack
01:03
and hit. OK,
01:06
you see, it's extracting to see air crack. So let's go ahead and do that real quick.
01:17
And we have windows. You do have the regular command line version, but you also have a gooey version as well. And I will admit I'm not too familiar with the gooey version. But we'll open it up just to kind of see what we've got going on there.
01:34
That's all you do
01:36
is open. The folder
01:38
in the gooey is in binary and believe, and you can see it's right there. Air crack dash N g gooey dot t x c So I'll use double click it to launch it. Um, And here So this is for actually cracking, um,
01:55
network. If you've already captured enough packets and stuff, you can tell it the encryption W p or W P. A.
02:00
The key size most of time you'll want to use a word list like we talked about in our linen video. But here we've also got the aero dump and, um, the air cap, just like you do in the Lennox's version. So all the same stuff is here,
02:15
and then all you do is click launched just in a nice Dewey form out. Um, we'll see what they got for advanced options. So for the advanced options, you can specify
02:24
your e s s I d or the V s. I d,
02:28
um, Looks like you could do a couple of things with different attacks,
02:32
different key searches and brute forcing.
02:37
So it's all pretty cool there. Same thing. You just want to, um, plug in your wireless network adapter
02:44
and then on windows instead of ah, I f configured to an i p config and that will let you know which adapter you need to use. But we will go ahead and show you how to use the command line one as well. So if you're in the folder, um, looks like the sea air crack and then minded to do the aircraft mg
03:02
you can actually will do. Ah, right. Click
03:06
and open. I'm sorry. Shift right click and opening command window here that we know we're in the right folder and this is a 32 bit machines. So seedy
03:17
32
03:20
bit folder.
03:21
And if you do an l s that will list all the files in there and so you can see we've got your regular air base, their crack air de cloak replay All the same things that you would use from the command line just right here in the Windows version. So I'm not gonna go into too much detail since we did do that with the linen version.
03:40
But as you can see, it should work almost exactly the same
03:44
just on a Windows machine.

Wireless Network Fundamentals for Security Practitioners

In this course, the instructor covers the basics about wireless protocols which includes LTE, Bluetooth, Z-Qave, and zigbee. The instructor also goes more in-depth with Aircrack-NG by discussing the tools used to test the wifi networks, explaining how to install the tools on various OS, and demonstrating an Aircrack-NG lab.
