Solid State Drives (SSD) Solid State Drives (SSD), are very similar to Hard Disk Drives. The main difference is that instead of using magnetic plates, they use flash memory to store data. There are no moving parts on the SSD, so we'll demonstrate how it work and how data is saved and transmitted. You'll learn what the advantage of using SSDs are, what happens when it's shaken or moved around, where you will find them and why they are more costly to purchase. We'll also diagram an SSD to demonstrate how its storage and data transmission processes work.
